Robert Pattinson and Carey Mulligan Take Hold On To Me

Robert Pattinson and Carey Mulligan are set to star opposite one another in Hold On To Me, a true crime thriller from director James Marsh (Man on Wire, Project Nim), Deadline reports.

The film revolves around a woman and her boyfriend who kidnap and bury alive a wealthy man in the hopes of securing a ransom. The project is said to be based on a true story, but it's currently unclear exactly what case inspired it. There are definite similarities to the kidnapping and burial of Samuel Bronfman in New York. In that case, a multi-million dollar ransom was paid.

The Great Gatsby Trailer Arrives Online

Many filmmakers have attempted to bring F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby - arguably the greatest book ever written - to the big screen, but thus far nobody has been successful. The most notable attempt came in 1974 when director Jack Clayton tried his hand at it. Despite bringing together a terrific cast that included Robert Redford, Mia Farrow, Bruce Dern and Karen Black,, the movie still couldn't match the power and brilliance of the original story. That, of course, puts a lot of pressure on Baz Luhrmann, whose own adaptation is set to come out at the end of this year.
