It's practically impossible for a found footage film to have poor results at the box office. As I noted a few weeks ago in my Great Debate with Katey over the future of found footage, even Apollo 18, which only made $17 million during its domestic run and $7 million internationally, managed to make more than five times its budget in ticket sales. Because of this there is no doubt that the format is going to be around for a long, long time.

Critics Consensus: The Lorax is Good, But Not Tree-mendous

Now that Oscar season is officially behind us, it might be a good time to take in some less demanding (and prestigious) fare at the multiplex. This week brings an animated eco-parable "The Lorax," with voice work from Zac Efron and Taylor Swift) and a wild party ("Project X," starring Thomas Mann and Oliver Cooper). Delightful as Dr. Seuss? books are, they aren?t all that long, so it can?t be easy to adapt them to the big screen.

Gofobo: How did you come to the project and what attracted you to your character?

JB: We all wanted, and it was nice to be doing a movie. It’s not like they approached us with a script.
Thomas: I had a bunch of offers so I was pretty hesitant…. we all got involved in different ways. They did a big tape submission thing searching for unknowns, and that’s how they found JB.
