Watch Sacha Baron Cohen Knock An Old Woman In A Wheelchair Off A Stage

What's the best way to honor one of the all-time great kings of physical comedy? Sure, you can do the iconic Charlie Chaplin walk, with your toes turned out and a cane in hand, as Sacha Baron Cohen does early in his acceptance speech for the Charlie Chaplin Award For Excellence in Comedy, which he received at the BAFTA Brittania Awards. But the real kicker comes at the end, when the cane snaps, Cohen tumbles, and knocks into the wheelchair that holds Grace Cullington, a former child actor who worked with the real Chaplin himself.

Sacha Baron Cohen Exits Freddie Mercury Biopic Over Creative Differences

Sacha Baron Cohen is just not seeing eye to eye with the remaining members of Queen who have script and director approval over that biopic on iconic lead singer Freddie Mercury. That film had Cohen circling the role but I’ve just learned he’s now pulled out. Freddie Mercury Biopic With Sacha Baron Cohen Aiming For 2014 Release

One of the more immediate recognitions of perfect casting in recent years, the news of Sacha Baron Cohen tackling the role of Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury has excited fans of both talents since the biopic was announced in 2010. Development has stuttered in the interim though, even as the film's producers reinforced the film's active status, but after a confirmation this past summer -- in the form of director Stephen Frears growing close to helming the project - a new tidbit from Queen guitarist Brian May himself has reignited the discussion even further.
