Warrior Cast Photos of Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy

Some artsy yet titillating cast photos of upcoming Mixed Martial Arts actioner Warrior have been released. The pics of studly up-and-comers Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy, who co-star as estranged brothers who battle it out MMA-style, were taken by Tim Palen. These are just a few of over 120 photos that will be compiled into a book about Warrior called “The Men of Warrior”.

Exclusive: 'Conan the Barbarian' Poster Premiere!

That's right! The kind folks over at Lionsgate have given us the exclusive premiere for the latest poster from Conan the Barbarian, opening August 19th. This new version of the Conan story is more true to the original works of Robert E. Howard and has Jason Momoa as the Cimmerian warrior, in 3D no less.

LAFF Coverage: 'The Devil's Double'

The LA Film Fest continued Monday night with the Los Angeles premiere of The Devil’s Double, which is currently in competition at the festival. The Devil’s Double is directed by New Zealand filmmaker Lee Tamhori who is familiar to the action genre for his work on the James Bond film Die Another Day, XXX: State of the Union, and Next starring Nicolas Cage.

Yes, there’s going to be a Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn booth, and since the dapper young actor will be at the Con, it is likely he’ll put in an appearance. As we reported, the panel is on the schedule for the first day of Comic-Con on July 21st. You have seen him in the Breaking Dawn, part one trailer, right? But, that fateful weekend will also be remembered for Abduction‘s presence at the Con.

Early Reaction: Gavin O'Connor's MMA Film 'Warrior' is Extraordinary

Yesterday I caught the first public screening (besides test screenings) at CinemaCon in Las Vegas of a new film from director Gavin O'Connor called Warrior. It's a drama starring Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton as brothers and former MMA fighters who return to make a comeback in an MMA tournament called Sparta. We were actually the first website to break the news that O'Connor was working on this project nearly three years ago and now I'm more than happy to be the first website to tell you that this film is absolutely incredible.
