My top five reasons why I recommend Now You See Me: 1) clever writing - as the "good guys" (read: central characters' antagonists), find themselves, viewers may easily find they're one step behind the Four Horsemen; 2) fully developed characters - though there are no asides made re what has brought any of the characters to where they are when introduced, not one feels unrealized; even though you know you know nothing, the film somehow presents three dimensional characters; 3) Alfred and Lucius Fox doing side work - it is such a treat to see Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman working together out

First, let me say that I'm not a purist. I don't feel that a movie of adaptation of comic book characters have to follow the comic exactly. The Christoper Reeve Superman movie set the standard and showed that when you respect the source material and treat the characters as real and not as cardboard cutouts or stereotypes a good movie can be made. Not a good comic book movie, just a good movie.

Great movies started being made with the comic book characters when they started fleshing out the characters and understanding their motivations.

'The Hunger Games' national mall tour to land in Los Angeles on March 3

The stars from The Hunger Games are going on a national tour to meet fans, leading up to its March 23 release date. Los Angeles will be the kick-off city with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and director Gary Ross set to appear on Saturday, March 3 at the Westfield Century City mall in West Los Angeles.

Sponsored by the Microsoft Store, China Glaze, and h2O Spring Water, additional stops will include Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix, Dallas, Miami, Chicago and Minneapolis through March 10.

I'm a huge Temberlake fan so I loved the movie. Very funny and engaging. Mila was funny and good chemistry with Timberlake. Supporting cast was perfect! Movie touched on many downers in life but managed to keep it light and funny. Will recommend to my friends.
