Very Funny

Movie:

The Internship

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson just have a fantastic chemistry together. I really enjoyed this film, largely on that.

I also kind of enjoyed the "sports movie" tropes they put in to a film about a tech internship.

It's light comedy affair, but thoroughly enjoyable. I was sad to see it didn't light the box office on fire this weekend.

After Earth~~Could be Better

After Earth

I always like to watch Will Smith and his son is quite the good little actor. I can see him rising to stardom quickly. He did a superb job.

I gave the movie three stars because I really didn't feel the storyline was all that fantastic. It was good, but not great. The beginning and the end had the most action and definitely held the interest of the viewer...but all the in between was slow and not nearly as engaging.

The cinematography was very good. This film would have done well in 3D with all the space, creature and fighting scenes.

Now You See Me

I can't say I didn't like this picture. I did. But...it was strange. It was hard to follow and it actually took another movie viewer to help clear up some of the confusion. I liked the fact that it was not predictable. The plot twisted and turned around every corner. The action was great as were the illusions especially on a big screen. For sure this is a picture is one that a person should watch. It for sure wasn't boring. With that said...the decision is yours...should you spend the money to see it on the big screen or simply wait for it to come out on DVD?

The Heat~~Riotous

The Heat

I absolutely loved this movie. It was non-stop laughs. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy did an job no other duo can match. Much of this movie had bad language and strong sexual references...but it was done in a tactful way.

If you are looking for a movie that will exercise the smile muscles in your face...this is it. Treat yourself. You day will get brighter.

Ironman 3~ Beyond Expectations

Movie:

Iron Man 3

I didn't have high expectations for this movie. I have not seen any Ironman movies, so I didn't know what to expect. After viewing this film...there is no question...Ironman is now on my favorite list.

This movie was exceptional. I loved it. Now...I must see all the other Marvel Comic based movies, like Ironman 1 and 2. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about this picture.

Robert Downey Jr. did a fantastic job. Gweneth Paltrow was also very good, although I wasn't quite as impressed with her acting. There was just the right amount of action and humor. The story was awesome.

This movie was exceptional. I loved it. Now...I must see all the other Marvel Comic based movies, like Ironman 1 and 2. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about this picture.

Fast & Furious 6~~wild ride

Movie:

Fast & Furious 6

Wow....from the second this movie began...all the way to the end, there was non-stop action.

I am not a person who really likes bash me up...car movies. The film was for sure intense in this area. The danger element high. The stunts amazing. The collateral damage over the top.

The story was pretty good. I can see how many movie goers will love this movie. It certainly didn't contain a moment to leave the mind daydreaming.

I had a hard time watching it...because of all the bashing, crashing and violence. And this will not be a movie I will ever watch again.

Star Trek into the Darkness~~Fantastic

Star Trek Into Darkness

I am not on any level a Star Trek fan. I went to this movie think how late the start time was..9pm...and how tired I was feeling after a long day of work.

But...once the film started...my adrenaline began pumping. The movie was fantastic. So much so...I will watch it again. There aren't too many movies I will watch twice. I absolutely loved it. The over two hour presentation flew by and before I knew it...it was over.

The film was engaging. It had just the right amount of danger, fantasy, and humor. I am now a fan and look forward to future Star Trek movies.

The Internship (Cute)

The Internship

The funny duo Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are back. I really enjoy these two actors working together. They bring about a connection that can't be found in other actors. They are always fun.

The movie itself was okay. The story was okay. The acting was funny. I can't really put my finger on it, but I have enjoyed other movies like the Wedding Crashers more.

I don't know if I would pay to see this movie. It is a must watch on DVD.

Peeples...Funny

Peeples

Another Tyler Perry fun family movie. I like Tyler Perry movies. For the most part they are genuinely clean movies with limited to no foul language.

While this movie was not the best Tyler Perry creation, it was funny which produced continuous laughs. The storyline, like most Tyler Perry movies was chaotic with an assortment of humorous family problems, always ending with a positive resolution at the end.
