My Private Screening of "The Dictator"

Movie:
The Dictator

This movie was very entertaining and hilarious. I have gone and seen this movie at a private screening. I will not say or talk about this movie because I would love to see the changes they have made since I've seen in it. I stayed after the screening of it to give my opinion and thoughts about the comedy of the movie, story plot, and the actors and actresses. Can't wait to see it in theatres because i can finally see the changes they have done and make another funny movie.

New Synopsis for Pixar’s BRAVE

A new synopsis for Pixar’s Brave has gone online. We already knew the film was set in the mystical Scottish Highlands and revolved around a young princess (voiced my Kelly Macdonald) who defies a sacred custom of the land, inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom, and then makes an ill-fated wish in order to set things right. The new synopsis adds a bit more color to the previous synopsis although it doesn’t add much in the way of new plot details. However, it’s looking like that for everyone who was unimpressed with Cars 2 (i.e.

Fun Flick for All Ages!

Movie:
Winnie the Pooh

In “Winnie the Pooh” the movie, Pooh Bear and his pals go on yet another series of fun filled adventures and quests through the Hundred Acre Woods. Set in refreshing 2-D animation, the film, much like “Toy Story 3”, introduces younger audiences to the series while also catering to the nostalgia that older generations may feel towards this classic tale.

White House Down- First great summer blockbuster of 2013

Movie:
White House Down

White House Down enters us into the summer blockbusters with a Bang!! This silly, action filled movie is a lot of FUN to watch. Plus it is funny too! A perfect kick back and eat some popcorn movie. Holds your attention and keeps you watching.

Channing Tatum as DC police officer John, and Jamie Foxx as the president of the US are a great team. They work well together and it looks like they had fun and it shows.

John is on a tour of the White House with his daughter Emily (well played by Joey King) when it is attacked and taken over.

Monsters University- prequel to Monsters, Inc

We get the back story on how Mike ( voice of Billy Crystal) and Sully ( voice of John Goodman) became friends back in their University days at old MU. The guys are both enrolled in the Scarce program.
The movie is very colorful and bright. The 3-D is underused and really not needed. I was disappointed with this Disney/Pixar.
They have done better.
Rated G but could be to intense for very young kids. Three or 4 left our screening that were under 6.

Watch for the Short "The Blue Umbrella" before the movie.

Much Ado About Nothing- modern retelling classic story

Much Ado About Nothing is a modern retelling of Shakespeare. is This classic, comedy-drama, tale of two sets of lovers is filled with verbal wit, and word play.

The first 15 minutes were hard until my mind was able to get into the speech patterns. Our ears are not used to this way of speaking- a war of words.

The movie is not for everyone. It is a "art" film.

Filmed in just 12 days in black and white. It is set in Sicily but is really Malibu California.

There are some laughs and some physical comedy. Excellent acting . Rated PG-13. Approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes

Man Of Steel- SUPERMAN- lots of FUN!

Movie:
Man of Steel

I enjoyed Man Of Steel. The beginning has some great back story and adds to the movie. It was fun to watch Clark grow into Superman. Plus we finally find out about the "S" and what it means on his home planet.

Henry Cavill is a great Superman. We get to see his two fathers from both his world's. Russell Crowe is his father- Jor-El on the planet Krypton. Kevin Coster and Diane Lane play his adopted parents on Earth- Jonathan and Martha Kent.
Lois Lane is a strong woman played by Amy Admas. She does a good job. Laurence Fishburn is Perry the editor of the paper.
