Review for: 50/50

A great, feel-good film. It wasn't sappy, but it made me cry. I walked out feeling great; feeling hope. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is pretty awesome and adorable. He makes you really care about Adam. I loved the development of the relationship with his therapist (and I love Anna Kendrick). I would have liked to see a little bit more of his personality in the beginning -- I think that would have helped to show how the illness effected him. Also, while I thought the scene where Adam breaks down in the car was effective, I though the scene where he walked out of the therapy session didn't really work. It didn't didn't seem like their intense reactions matched their tepid words.
Also, great music. I loved the Pearl Jam at the end!
