Pursuit of Happiness with Jaden and Will Smith never disappoints. The real relationship they had improved the effectiveness in their roles. I wonder how they will do in this film
Zoolander with Ben and Jerry Stiller. I didn't realize they were father/son until afterwards.
Michael Sheen and Charlie Sheen were great in Wall Street.
Favorite father/son movie duo could possibly be the father/son duo that never happened but was so longed for; yet uttered in one word; "Rosebud." All the money in the world can't buy back your childhood.
Of course, my favorite would have to be the father and son duo that never even knew they existed. It's so ingrained in our head that we don't even realize one of the most popular lines in movie culture was never even spoken. "Luke, I am your father." The love for a son can overturn even the darkest powers in the universe.
The most recent movie heroic father and son would have to be the 2009 Star Trek movie. In twelve minutes as Captain, George Kirk saved the lives of over 800, including his son James Kirk.
Does future/past self count? If so, "Looper" gets my vote. :]
If not, then Indiana Jones Jr. and Sr. from The Last Crusade.
