Surreal and Wondeful Family Movie

I was fortunate to receive tickets to the screening of Journey 2. First the cast is great and mesh well together. I love Dwayne Johnson and playing off Micheal Caine was hysterical.

Luiz Guzman is so underrated as an actor that I am glad to see him in a movie with his comedic chops. He was so funny one liners and when he was speaking with Vanessa in sending her to college it was so beautiful and I felt the caring father in his role despite his comedic acting during the movie.

As reasonable and frugal I am, the 3d movie is worth the investment. It matches what you believe what a mysterious island is. Seeing how beautiful the island was I felt like I was there the entire time. It is fast paced and I didn't want it to end. For children, definitely can start a pique of interest in the books by Jonathan Swift and Robert Louis Stevens.I actually want to re-read it myself.

I do suggest to watch the first movie to recap what happened to his father so you can catch on from the beginning of the movie.
