Character Development with Texture
Movie:
The Help I did not read this book...but, this movie would inspire me to read the book. Great acting and period piece reflecting the extreme bigotry and racial segregation at that time.
At any point in the movie the directing and the acting could easily have gone too white or too black. But, the movie stayed in balance allowing the viewer to connect on a human level, not a race level.
This movie might come off too authentic for some but suspect it will have great success at the box office.
