The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Why didn't they ever return to the story of Charlie's friend who committed suicide? Seemed like a strange storyline to just throw in there without explanation. The character didn't need any more tragedy in his life to support the premise that he was emotionally fragile...still liked the movie though.

I cried when Charlie came home and was banging his head on the front door and goes to kitchen & they show the knife on the counter. And when his sister had that bad feeling that he was going to hurt himself when he called her asking if he killed Aunt Helen. And also when the police had to break the door down to get to him.
