The Words
News
Starring Bradley Cooper, Oscar(R)-winner Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana, the layered romantic drama The Words follows young writer Rory Jansen who finally achieves long sought after literary success after publishing the next great American novel. There's only one catch - he didn't write it. As the past comes back to haunt him and his literary star continues to rise, Jansen is forced to confront the steep price that must be paid for stealing another man's work, and for placing ambition and success above life's most fundamental three words.

It was an okay film. The story within the story within the story was interesting but there was nothing that I felt tied it all together. Jeremy Irons was, well Jeremy Irons, which means he was spectacular. Bradley Cooper was fine. I just didn't like the character. And one thing that bugged me about his character was that he writes three books but isn't a writer. Jeremy Irons character wrote and wrote and wrote first for a magazine. He was a writer to begin with. When he wrote his book he had experience. Bradley Cooper's character just wrote for school, and then three unpublished books??? To succeed one must write and write and write. That was the let down for me.
