Total Recall: Gofobo Goes To The Press Junket

"I wanted to evaluate the concept of original and what it meant to me while doing this. I think (the word) original more and more is the presentation, rather than the thing itself. Being a remake doesn't automatically make a film bad. I'm sorry it just doesn't. It's impossible. I have done films that lack the originality that's in this remake and they were actual original films."

Total Recall Featurette Shows Off Real-Life Hover Cars

Though you can debate whether or not we really need a remake of 1990's Total Recall, the one huge advantage the new movie has over the Arnold Schwarzenegger original is the advance of movie technology. And while director Len Wiseman could use CGI effects to make the movie's futuristic world richer and bigger, he relied on good old-fashioned practical effects as well--especially for a car chase sequence that takes place in super futuristic hover cars.

'Total Recall's' Three-Breasted Actress Sparks Internet Frenzy

The red carpet is no stranger to off-the-wall celebrity attire, but one might think that actress Kaitlyn Leeb would have known that sporting an extra appendage at Comic-Con 2012 would create quite a splash.

While the 24-year-old actress displayed three breasts at the convention promoting her role as a three-breasted prostitute in the upcoming remake of Total Recall, Leeb did not expect that her chest would go viral and that people would believe the breasts are real.

Here’s the three-boobed lady from Total Recall

One of the biggest controversies surrounding Len Wiseman’s Total Recall remake was whether it would include the three-boobed hooker like the original (yes, this is considered a controversy in the movie blog world. accept it and move on). Wiseman promised it would, which seemed specious considering the movie is rated PG-13, and bare breasts and violence cannot coexist in a PG-13 film, so sayeth the MPAA. Based on these pictures (of model Kaitlyn Leeb) from Comic-Con, it looks like they found a work around.

This isn't the first time multiple movies have shared a title, of course -- last week's action thriller Safe shared a title with a Todd Haynes drama.
