Obviously, the title characters have proven themselves capable of a great performance. They do just that in this film, but the subject of rugby and the documentation of what happened leading up to a sports championship just don't do well enough as a story to garner the attention drawn by this year's award winners.

I did not feel scenes that included the people of South Africa were realistic. I did not think Matt Damon was the best choice
for the character he played. I thought Morgan Freeman did a good job.

I am not sure I had forgotten my history or whether I just did not really pay attention to the world news when this happened. Movie was presented very well. Morgan Freeman was a good choice to portray Nelson Mandela. I think everyone should go see. Movies made based on true events are always good. Thanks for the passes to see movie.

The film was very well done. Was a great insight to the historical happenings of the Anti-apartheid era and of Nelson Mandela. Morgan Freeman was great in this part. Matt Damon does a wonderful portrayal of his character. Working together can bring great change when done in the right setting, with the right people, for the right reason. This new insight helped me to understand more about the pa...more

I enjoyed Morgan Freeman's performance. He was Mandella.

I enjoyed the final match and how the little boy with the coca cola wound up part of the police group. The excitement on that day of the finals was amazing, it is difficult to capture, but I think Invictus did a good job.

The final scenes involving the rugby match were too drawn out. Otherwise the movie was entertaining and inspiring.

The movie moved a little slow and would have liked to have had a larger view of the rugby playing - the shots were too close making it difficult to see the actual game.

I thought this movie was excellent, just wish I had studied about Nelson Mandella so I knew more about him before the movie. I thought is was about courage, encouragement, forgiveness, moving on and what is important in Lefe
