I thought the acting by Lane & Gere was great! They have amazing onscreen chemistry, but the movie...Yikes! I will know not to watch another film adaption from Nicholas Sparks otherwise I will end up needing like 2 boxes of kleenex...lol.

"Nights in Rodanthe" was a beautiful adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel. Richard Gere's portrayal of Dr. Paul Flanner and Diane Lane's character, Adrienne had great chemistry together on the big screen. The inn and beach setting added to the appeal of the story. I highly recommend this film.

This was one of the best Love story I have seen. I even cried. I would like to recommend this movie to all. Enjoyed every minute.

This is a story about two troubled people staying in an inn for the weekend. Diane discovers what she wants in life; during the same time, Dr. Paul Flanner begins to change the way he sees and interacts with others. It is not the typical romance movie ending but it is good just the same.

I loved this movie. I even cried at the end ... It is definitely chick flick .. good one but still a chick flick. Guys take your girl to see this one... you might benefit from it :-))

In brief, a divorced mother of two Adrienne Willis (Diane Lane) is running a bed and breakfast beach house when she takes in a single Doctor, Dr. Paul Flanner (Richard Gere). A storm hits the beach house that brings them together and starts a romance that builds-up to a point where they fall in love. The end... more

I have read other Nicholas Sparks books and seen the movie adaptations, but I must admit this was one of the best. The movie is very subtle but in the end hits with a really big punch! Make sure to bring the tissues! I give this movie an A!
