Michael Cera's comedic timing is always impressive but I hope that his upcoming films will show more shades of his unique talent, to say the least. Anyway, enough ranting, this film kept me laughing until the end. I just loved the quippy dialogue for which Michael Cera executes so well as we all know. I look forward to seeing more cinema from this charming Canadian import.

Movie was a good idea. Cera was great in his dual roles, it just took too long to introduce the second character and left you wanting more.

I really liked this movie, granted I am a Michael Cera fan and love his style of humor. I thought this was a wonderful coming of age tale with many laugh out loud moments. A great ensemble cast of characters really filled out the supporting cast superbly. I love Fred Willard in general and found his character a refreshing and fun take on an activist. Overall a sweetly humored look at human foi...more

It was funny, much funnier than expected based on previews. I liked the graphical treatments used throughout the movie. Reminded me a bit of "Juno" in some aspects. Overall liked the movie.

Harder to believe Michael Cera can pull off being a 16 year old, but as with all of his great movies, the humor he installs with his tongue-in-cheek delivery makes the movie memorable

I liked the movie but thought the trailer had already givn away the most funny parts so nothing unexpected and new in actual film

Youth in Revolt is a quirky, sophisticated brain teaser that brings one into the familiar territory of coming of age in the modern chaotic world. With expert delivery from all cast members, this movie is sure to make you laugh and remember what it's like to figure it all out and make your way in the world.

Although the film began well and was very amusing I found the dual personality device to be unappealing. A nice try that didn't quite get there for me.

I loved the scenes involving Francois Dillinger. What a great alter-ego to Michael's mild-mannered persona. When he flipped over the cereal bowl at the breakfast table and walked out, I lost it. I also thought that Portia Doubleday's scene where she asked Michael to put lotion on her body on the beach was great. Another great scene was when they came home to find the entire car in their living...more

I thought Michael Cera was fantastic but the movie's final 3rd wasn't as strong as the other parts

I thought the ideas presented were original. Somehow, Cera's character acting never gets old. Sheeni was a major role in the film, but is not portrayed that way in previews/trailers.
