Chris Evans Reveals When Captain America: The Winter Solider Will Begin Filming

The future of Marvel Studios movies in the post-Avengers era is well underway. The Shane Black-directed Iron Man 3 has been in production for months now and director Alan Taylor recently got things going for Thor: The Dark World in the UK. So that takes care of the 2013 movies, as the Iron Man sequel will be out in May and the God of Thunder will have his second solo movie arrive next November - but what about the movies beyond that? Both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy are slated to be released during the 2014 calendar year, but when will they begin production. We still don't know when the latter film will gear up (though we now know that James Gunn is directing), but now the star of the former has revealed when he will get back into the stars and stripes.

Collider caught up with Chris Evans, who plays the star spangled man with a plan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the actor revealed that he will be suiting up once again in March 2013...
