Darren Aronofsky Tweets Photo of Under Construction Ark from Noah
What is Noah without his ark? A guy who drowns, that’s who. Writer-director Darren Aronofsky has tweeted a set photo of the fabled ark from his upcoming biblical epic, Noah. In his tweet, Aronofsky says “I dreamt about this since I was 13. And now it’s a reality. Genesis 6:14″ And for those that don’t know their bible (you’re going to Hell if you don’t, BTW), Genesis 6:14 is “So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.”
No word yet if this is actual cypress wood. We also don’t know if Aronofsky is building his arc to the biblical specification of “300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high,” but the thing is definitely massive.
