Hardcore New Red Band Trailer For End Of Watch, Starring Jake Gyllenhaal
David Ayer knows cop drama. After growing up in South Central Los Angeles he found his niche in Hollywood directing and/or writing movies like Training Day, Dark Blue, The Fast and the Furious and Harsh Times. His latest film, End of Watch, once again takes us into the gritty world of the NYPD and now a brand new Red Band trailer has arrived online to show it off.
Watching this trailer I'm not so much struck by the violence or the tone of the story, but rather the cinematography. It looks as though Ayer has constructed some very strange rigs for this movie and it looks unlike anything he's ever done before. I do wonder if the style will be kind to audiences over the span of two hours, but we'll just have to wait and see.
