Jennifer Garner on Hugh Jackman sex scene: 'So horrifying'

We don't know if it was this scene in particular, or if Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman should just avoid sex scenes in general, but both stars seem to have been scarred by their sensual encounter in their upcoming indie "Butter."

Just as Jackman has said that he was beyond embarrassed after recording vocals for a sex scene with Garner, the actress relayed the same sentiment to E! News.

"Of course, it was like the first day we worked together," she said. "It's always like that. It's always like, 'It's nice to meet you, now let's moan and groan.'"

The actors had to record audio of their characters making love because the sex scene takes place off-camera.

"I'm such a huge fan of his," Garner laughed of her co-star, who plays her ex-boyfriend in the quirky comedy (which, by the way, is about competitive butter carving). "It was so horrifying."

Some are comparing Garner's ambitious character Laura to a Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin type, especially in the style department, but Garner says she doesn’t think of her role in a political sense.

"I didn't look at the political figures of today at all,” she told E! News. “As far as the political stuff, that you'll just have to read into yourself."

"Modern Family" star Ty Burrell plays Garner's retired butter-carving husband in the film, which is due to hit theaters in March.
