‘Side Effects’ Trailer: Channing Tatum and Rooney Mara Pop Pills
‘Side Effects‘ is a psychological thriller not unlike director Steven Soderbergh‘s previous film, ‘Contagion.’ This film stars Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum and Jude Law wrapped up in the world of pharmaceutical research and experimentation that can have a devastating effect on people’s lives. The film hits theaters in 2013 and you can watch the new trailer now.
The film follows a love triangle between a woman (Mara), her ex-con boyfriend (Tatum) and her doctor (Law), who prescribes her a new anti-depressant that has some startling (wait for it….) side-effects. Originally titled ‘The Bitter Pill,’ the film was to have starred Blake Lively in the Rooney Mara role until talks broke down and the Oscar-nominated Mara stepped in to take her place.
